Having used it exclusively over the past 2 years as my main landscape tripod, it has been proven reliable each and every time I have used it in the field. It has been able to provide a stable shooting platform without adding a tone of weight on my backpack, something highly appreciated when hiking.

The Sherpa Max is made of high quality 3K carbon fibers, that allow the weight to be kept well below 2kg. It features large 28mm 4-section tripod legs and a large 36mm ballhead that provides a firm grip, even when shooting with longer lenses. At the same time it will easily hold up to 12kg of camera weight, up to 175cm high with the center column extended. The center column can be divided, so you can get those low or macro shots, without too much hussle. In the center column you will also find the phone holder for the occasional cell phone shooters.
